3 Steps How to Play Java Real Money Poker on iPhone 3g

What we need is a working unlocked and jailbraked IPhone with Installer.

There are the steps:

Step 1: Sign up for an AbsolutePoker.com account. This site offers a No-Download (Java Based) playing system. After installing Java on your iphone, go to AbsolutePoker.com and click on the NO DOWNLOAD POKER link to the left. Non- USA players can sign up other No-Download sites if they'd prefer.

Step 2: Go to Installer and install Mobile Terminal and Cydia Installer.

  1. Go to Settings -> General -> Auto-Lock and set it to Never. This will avoid some troubles during installation.
  2. Run Installer. Repository for Terminal should be already there (BigBoss), because it is in latest Community Sources.
  3. Add repository http://apptapp.saurik.com for Cydia Installer and refresh
  4. Go to Install -> System Find Term-vt100 - Mibile Terminal App. I used version svn278. Install it.
  5. Go to System again and find Cydia Installer - The Future of the IPhone. I used version 1.0. Install it.
  6. Exit. Restart IPhone. Two icons for Terminal and Cydia should appear.

Here are some screenshots for Step 2:

Four Tips for New Online Poker Players

For those of us more experienced players, we remember the first time signing up to play real money poker.  The potential to win big and become a professional online poker, the ability to quit our dead-end jobs and buy a Maserati were just a couple hours away.  Oh, what I wouldn’t give to have that excited feeling back in my poker game.  After hours upon hours of first hand knowledge, I’ve decided to put together a checklist for new online poker players:

  1. Don’t be intimidated.  Remember that you’re playing online; no one can see how nervous or new to the game you might be.  For all your opponents know you’ve been playing for years and are about to take their money.
  2. Start off slow.  There is nothing wrong with watching out the other players bet, folding your cards when you’re not the big blind and just waiting to get a monster hand before jumping in and betting.  I like Absolute Poker’s site for newbies.  The bets are small, the players are friendly…it’s an easy place to get used to the odds and how the game is played.
  3. Learn the odds.  Online poker is a game of odds with a little luck.  Know the odds and you’ll make money, guaranteed.  The majority of online poker players are gamblers…not mathematicians.  Use our online odds helper to learn when you should be calling, raising and folding.
  4. Have fun.  Poker is a great escape from the real world.  Use it as an opportunity to bond with other players and learn a truly great game.

Online Texas Hold’em Odds

Online Poker is a game of odds...

If you play Texas Hold’em poker online, I’m guessing you’re playing to win.  And if winning is your game, you play by the odds.  Odds are a central point of interest to all online poker players.  If you don't know how to calculate the odds of your hand vs. various pot odds you will only win on occasion when you’re lucky.

It’s true that some famous poker stars claim to play their hands based on gut feelings, but rest assured knowing they are full of crap.  Every professional poker player, online or offline, checks the odds of his/her hand first.  Online Texas Hold'em, like every other variation of poker, is based on a strict set of mathematical odds.  Therefore, a solid grounding in simple mathematics is essential to winning the game.

In layman’s terms, the game of poker is structured around the probability of a specific outcome occurring vs. the dollar amount you win if it does occur or the dollar amount you lose if it doesn’t.  The numeric probability represents your odds of winning.  It’s completely impossible to place rational bets and call bluffs in online Texas Hold’em poker if you don’t have a clue what the current running table odds are.

What are the odds of hitting a straight draw?  What are the odds of your pocket suited pair improving to a flush set after the flop?  That’s exactly the kind of information your will find in the table below.
